Aegean Airlines
Aegean Airlines is the largest carrier in Greece and the country's de facto flag carrier. Founded in 1987 and operating scheduled services since 1999, it is headquartered in Athens and has been a Star Alliance member since 2010.
From its main hubs in Athens and Thessaloniki, Aegean serves destinations across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Its network also includes scheduled flights to Türkiye, connecting Athens with Istanbul and Izmir.
With a modern Airbus narrow-body fleet, Aegean focuses on short- and medium-haul routes and is positioned as a full-service carrier with a strong reputation for service quality in the region.
