Air France is France's flag carrier, founded in 1933 and headquartered at the Roissypôle complex near Paris, on the grounds of Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is part of the Air France-KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance.

The airline flies from its hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle to destinations across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, having consolidated all of its operations there after ending flights at Paris Orly in March 2026. Its network includes scheduled service to Istanbul in Türkiye.

With a modern fleet of narrow-body jets on short- and medium-haul routes and wide-body aircraft on intercontinental services, Air France is a long-established full-service carrier.
