British Airways
British Airways is the United Kingdom's flag carrier, formed in 1974 through the merger of BOAC and BEA. It is headquartered in Harmondsworth near London and is a founding member of the oneworld alliance.
The airline flies from its main hub at London Heathrow, along with London Gatwick and London City, to a large number of destinations across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. It serves Istanbul year-round and also operates seasonal flights to Turkish holiday destinations such as Antalya and Dalaman.
Operating narrow-body aircraft on short-haul routes and a wide-body fleet on long-haul services, British Airways is a long-established full-service carrier catering to both business and leisure travellers.
