ITA Airways (Italia Trasporto Aereo) is the flag carrier of Italy. Founded in 2020 as the successor to Alitalia, it began flying in October 2021 and is headquartered in Rome.

The airline flies from its main hub at Rome Fiumicino and a secondary base at Milan Linate to destinations across Europe, North and South America and the Middle East, including scheduled service between Rome and Istanbul.

Operating an all-Airbus fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft, ITA Airways is a full-service carrier active on both short-haul European routes and long-haul intercontinental flights.
