United Airlines
United Airlines is a major US carrier founded in 1926 and headquartered in Chicago. Today it flies to hundreds of destinations worldwide, spanning the US domestic market as well as Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
The airline runs its network through a system of large hub airports, with Chicago O'Hare, Newark, Denver, Houston, San Francisco and Washington Dulles among its main bases.
On narrow-body routes United relies chiefly on the Boeing 737 and Airbus A319/A320 families, while long-haul services are operated with Boeing 767, 777 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
