Antalya Airport
Antalya Airport (AYT) is the main gateway to the Mediterranean coast's resort regions. Home base of SunExpress, in summer it reaches record passenger numbers with scheduled and charter flights from Germany, the UK, Russia and many other European countries.
In peak season aircraft fly back-to-back rotations all day, so a morning delay can ripple into the evening schedule. Retimed departures and cancellations on charter flights are also frequent complaints from holiday passengers.
Domestic and international flights through Antalya Airport can qualify under SHY-YOLCU, and Europe-linked flights under EU261. Charter and package-holiday flights are covered by the same rules; the amount ranges from €250 to €600 depending on distance.

- Keep your boarding pass, ticket and booking documents.
